Safety Screening
-
Have a conversation with your physician about continuous glucose monitoring.
-
Screen yourself for anxiety, depression and food addiction.
-
If you screen positive for any of those conditions, consult your physician.
-
Make sure when you begin your CGM that you are not having low blood glucose (hypoglycemia) especially with symptoms. If you have that, consult your physician immediately.

✅ Initial Screening
The diagnosis of food addiction is often met with skepticism in traditional medical circles. However, research confirms that certain foods, especially those high in sugar, exhibit addictive qualities. People with food addiction display behaviors similar to substance addiction, including: •Hiding eating habits •Bingeing followed by guilt •Feeling powerless to stop consuming comfort foods despite knowing the negative health impact Food addiction is closely linked to anxiety, depression, and past trauma. Successfully treating food addiction often requires addressing these underlying mental health issues. That’s why this experiment begins with screening for all three conditions.
